We are a Danish medical technology company with about 2,200 employees in the Nordics, Germany and the US. Our new framework has eight levels on two tracks and the full criteria run to 34 pages. Until now only managers and HR have seen them.
With pay transparency rules arriving in the EU, and our own wish to be more open, we plan to publish. The debate internally is whether employees get the full text or a two-page summary per track. Managers fear the full text will produce a wave of 'I meet every line of the next level' conversations. I suspect the summary will be seen as hiding something.
If you have published in full, what happened in the first six months?
