Sponsor introductions for chapters

Several of us raised sponsorship on the last council call, and I offered to gather views before we take a proposal to the association's staff. At present each chapter finds its own sponsors. Larger chapters manage well, while smaller ones tell me they have neither the contacts nor the time.

My proposal is that the association introduces its national sponsors to chapters on request, with a simple menu: 1,500 dollars for a single event, 4,000 for a year. In return chapters agree common rules, such as no sales presentations and no sharing of the attendee list. Would your chapter use this, and what rules would you want?
